Ida Bell "Dutch" Briggs(1926-2013)

Ida Bell "Dutch" Briggs, 86, resident of Nowata, died at 7:55 AM Thursday in Nowata.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday in the Ball Cemetery with Rev. Ray Witty of the First Baptist Church in Lenapah officiating. Graveside services and interment will be directed by the Stumpff-Nowata Funeral Home.
A memorial has been established with the 10-33 Wheelchair Van, 321 E. Cherokee, Nowata, Oklahoma 74048 for those who wish to donate in her memory.
Ida Bell Briggs was born on September 6, 1926 in Delaware, Oklahoma the daughter of John and Josie Bell (Whitlock) Sellars. She was raised in Delaware and married Harold Briggs in April of 1946 at Independence, Kansas they lived most of their married life in Nowata and he preceded her in death in December of 1992. She was a member of the Baptist Church and Liked to fish.
Dutch is survived by one daughter; Carolynn Woodworth and her husband Clyde of Nowata, one son Jim Sellars and his wife Dorothy of Delaware, four grandchildren; Vicki Robinson and her husband Richard of Helena, MT., John Woodworth and his wife Patty of Nowata, Rusty Sellars and his wife Carrie of Delaware and Danny Woodworth of Nowata, five great grandchildren; USMC Randy Woodworth and his wife Ashley of San Diego, California, Seth and Lane Robinson of Helena, MT. , Brock and Kendra Sellars of Delaware. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers; Carl, Newton, Hubert Sellars, five sisters; Wilba (Red) Thomason, Bertha Hill-Ogden, Marion (Shorty) Nash and Jewel Blankenship and twin grandsons; Tony and Terry Sellars.
