Jessica Ann Meyer
The Funeral Mass for Jessica Ann Meyer, age 28, will be conducted at 3 P.M. on Friday, May 16, 2014 at the St. John Catholic Church in Bartlesville with Father Chris Daigle officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
The Meyer family will receive guests at the Stumpff Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 7 P.M. until 8 P.M.
Jessica Ann Meyer was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on March 13, 1986 the daughter of Stephen James Meyer and Theresa Ann Meyer. She grew up in Bartlesville and attended Ranch Heights Elementary School, Madison Middle School and Bartlesville High School where she graduated in 2004. She was also active in Girl Scouts and had received their Silver Award and was active in the Catholic Church. She attended the University of Oklahoma at Norman where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Bio chemistry and was working on a second degree in Microbiology. She was active in a variety of student clubs on the OU campus, enjoyed the outdoors and going on picnics with her friends. She was a huge St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan, would regularly bicycle 30 miles a day and participated in triathlons. She enjoyed helping other people and loved to volunteer with hospice organizations and tutor other students.
Jessica is survived by her parents, Steve and Terri Meyer of Bartlesville, one brother, Nicholas Meyer of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, her maternal grandparents, Donald Lynn and Marie Meyer of Springfield, Missouri, her paternal grandmother, Norma Meyer of Springfield, Missouri, her maternal aunts and uncles, Michael and Tara Meyer of Leesburg, Florida, Suzanne and Steve Hoffmier of Greenville, Illinois, and Stephen W. and Marlow Meyer of Glen Carbon, Illinois, her paternal aunts and uncles, Donna and Marin Blevins of Columbia, Missouri, and David and Robin Meyer, Jeffrey Meyer and Cynthia Meyer all of Springfield, Missouri, and a number of cousins and friends She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Donald Lester Meyer and her maternal great grandmother, Mary Kroutil.
