Mr. Jewel Delbert Stewart, 92, resident of Bartlesville, died Monday July 15, 2013, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 18, 2013 in the Spirit Church (Formerly First Assembly of God) Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Interment will be in the Havana Cemetery at Havana, Kansas directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

Jewel Delbert Stewart was born December 1, 1920 in Hewins, Kansas to Bert H. and Leora (Jackson) Stewart. He was raised and received his education in Elgin and Havana, Kansas graduating high school at Havana in 1938. Mr. Stewart was married to Imogene Ward on December 28, 1941 at Independence, Kansas. He entered the U.S. Army
on October 1, 1943 and was honorably discharged in January 1946. Mr. Stewart received a Purple Heart
and a Bronze Star
for his service. Mr. Stewart spent 33 years selling milk and bread as a salesman. They moved to Bartlesville in 1957 and he worked 18 years selling door to door with Page Milk Company. He later worked as a Public Service representative and retired from P.S.O. in Bartlesville. Mr. Stewart was a member of the Spirit Church (formerly First Assembly of God in Bartlesville).
Survivors include his son Gary D. Stewart and his wife Gwen of Guthrie, Oklahoma; his daughter Jeanne M. Stewart of Bristow, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Imogene W.
