Raymond Lee Brewer Sr.(1948-2012)

Raymond Lee Brewer, Sr. 63, lifetime resident of Dewey, passed away at 2:45 AM on Thursday, October 4, 2012 in his home in Dewey, Oklahoma. There will be a private service held for family and close friends.
Raymond was born November 14, 1948 in Fairland, Oklahoma to Jesse and Virginia (Blevins) Brewer. He was raised and received his education in Dewey. Mr. Brewer spent some of his early 20's working as a Supervisor at the Dewey Foundry before eventually becoming his own boss as an Independent Oil Producer. At a young age, Raymond developed a love for hunting and fishing which became a big part of who he was. When Raymond wasn't working, he was hunting and fishing or teaching his children how to.
He was married to Beth Ainsworth on May 8, 1992 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. They made their home northwest of Dewey on a small farm until his death.
Raymond is survived by his wife Beth Brewer, his children: Carrie (Brewer) Brown of Bartlesville, Danny Brewer of Dewey, and John Brewer also of Dewey. His step-children: Nikole Calonder of Dewey and Dallas Smith of Bartlesville. Also by, his sister Barbara Sumner of Dewey and his brother Bill Crabtree of Bartlesville, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Robert Brewer and Raymond Brewer, Jr. Friends may sign the register book at the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory as the casket will remain closed at all times.
