Virginia P. Anderson, 90, died Monday, October 15, 2012, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday October 19, 2012 at the Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Paul Overholt of the First United Methodist Church in Barnsdall, Oklahoma officiating. Funeral services and entombment will be under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

Virginia P. Anderson was born January 17, 1922 at Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Augustus and Grace L. (Cranor) Thomas. She received her education in Bartlesville graduating high school in 1940. Mrs. Anderson also attended Bartlesville Business College. She was married to F. Wayne Anderson on August 8, 1942 in Bartlesville. Mrs. Anderson was an accomplished singer and sang with the Sweet Adeline's. She also sang for the Eastern Star, Funerals, Weddings and her church. She was a member of the Grace Epworth United Methodist Church for many years. Mrs. Anderson was employed with Phillips Petroleum Company as an elevator operator, later becoming active as a secretary with Phillips Pipeline Division.
Survivors include two daughters; Sara (Martin) Whiteley and her husband Garry of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jan Lovell and her husband Gary of Wailuku, Hawaii; one sister Dodie Gregory of Tulsa; one granddaughter JoAnn (Lovell) Bustos and her husband Tony of Oklahoma City; three great-grandchildren Corbin and Dakota Castle and Ashlyn Bustos all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
