Doris Keeble Obituary

Doris Virginia Keeble, 88, of Bartlesville passed away Tuesday, 9:30 p.m. at the Medicalodge of Dewey.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at East Cross United Methodist Church with Pastor Emory Mason officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
Doris Virginia (Jones) Keeble was born July 14, 1921 in Wakita, OK to Glenn and Clara (Williams) Jones. She was raised in Anthony, KS graduating in 1939. On August 9, 1939 she married Burton Keeble in Enid, OK. Burton and Doris moved to Bartlesville in 1995 to be near their daughter, Lerene. Doris was a homemaker who was devoted to her husband Burton and had a strong love for family. She enjoyed working with crafts, crocheting and cooking.
Doris is survived by her daughter Lerene and husband Cliff Schornick of Bartlesville. Three granddaughters; Debbie and George Noble of Bartlesville, Suzanne and Brett Smith of McAlester, Sandy and Jason Flowers of Claremore. Six great grandsons; Ben Noble, Drew, Evan and Kyle Smith, Justis and Zane Spears along with two great granddaughters; Taylor and Elizabeth Flowers. One sister, Nell Latimer of Bartlesville. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Burton, her parents and one sister, Orma Lee Smith.
