Anson-Richard Curtis Carrington, 57, died Friday, July 26, 2013, in Abilene. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 29, 2013, at Adams-Graham Funeral Home with Cody Cochran officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery at Tuxedo.

Born December 28, 1955, in Pawhuska, OK, Richard was the son of Curtis Spurgin and Vina (Couch) Carrington. He entered the U.S. Air Force, September 19, 1974, in Tulsa, OK. He retired October 1, 1994, at Dyess Air Force Base after serving 20 years. He then worked for Lockheed Martin and the City of Anson. He was a member of the Methodist church.
He married Theresa Charlene McNeely, April 26, 1975 in Anson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Joan Brazee and Jean Gauger; two nephews, Jack Vaden and Brice Milleson.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Carrington; 1 daughter, Crystal Lasher (and husband, Joe) of Kettering, OH; one son, Curtis Mac Carrington (and wife, Lisa) of Anson; 6 grandchildren, Dylan, Derek and Brittany Lasher and Nicholas, Damon, and Zach Carrington; four sisters, Charlotte Milleson (and husband, Wilford) of Pawhuska, Letty Bradley of Pawhuska, and Elaine Carrington of Pawhuska; one brother, Curtis "Sarge" Carrington of Oklahoma; special nephew, Collin Gardner; special niece, Charley Gardner; numerous other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Adams-Graham Funeral Home.
