Mr. Ronald Dean Hollenbaugh 63, of Bartlesville, joined the Lord at 12:47 A.M. on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.
Memorial services for Mr. Hollenbaugh will be held at 10A.M. Friday at the Copan Baptist Church with Pastor Willard Lyons officiating..
A memorial fund has been established and those who wish may send their contributions to the Copan Baptist Church, P.O. Box 107, Copan, Oklahoma, 74022 or to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 491, Dewey, Oklahoma, 74029.
Mr. Hollenbaugh was born at Cheyenne Wells, Colorado on January 8, 1951 the son on Dean Edward and Norma L. (Whitehead) Hollenbaugh. He completed his childhood education, grades one thru twelve in Cheyenne Wells. He entered the U.S. Navy on November 13, 1969 and served until November 12, 1973 aboard the USS Constellation CVA-64. While in the Navy he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior. Ron married Paula Ann Bogenhagen on July 22, 1972. To this union a daughter, Jennifer and son, Timothy were born. Ron and his family enjoyed hobbies of hunting, fishing and camping throughout his lifetime. Ron was and always will be a loving husband, father, grandpa, uncle, cousin, friend and will always be in our hearts.
Ron is survived by his wife, Paula of the home in Bartlesville, one daughter, Jennifer Renfrow and husband Eric of Bartlesville, one son, Tim Hollenbaugh and wife Amity, one sister, Wanda Stephens of Bartlesville, his mother, his niece, Kristin Gray of Tulsa, Norma L. Hollenbaugh of Bartlesville, and seven grandchildren, Christopher Renfrow, Jessica Renfrow, Colin Renfrow, Kathryn Hollenbaugh, Nathan Hollenbaugh, Levi Hollenbaugh and Colton Hollenbaugh. He was preceded in death by his father and step mother, Dean and Rosella Hollenbaugh and grandmothers, Ailene Yount and Lois Totten.
