Charles Huff, 82, resident of rural Bartlesville, died at 10:25 PM, Wednesday.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Grady Miller of the Bolton Friends Church officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday in the Harrisonville Cemetery south of Independence, Kansas. Services will be under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Charles William Huff was born on July 3, 1931 at Bartlesville, Oklahoma the son of Fred Huff and Eva (Gunn) Huff Cobb. He was raised in this area and graduated from Dewey High School with the Class of 1949. He married Dessie E. Atkinson. Charlie had worked as a building contractor and carpenter for many years and later owned his own construction business. He loved to race powerboats and had raced all around this area.
Charlie is survived by his wife Dessie of the home, one sister Anna Lee Smith of Tulsa, two nieces, Cynthia Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri and Dayleen Green of Houston, Texas, three nephews, Charles Smith of Tulsa, John Prestil of Dallas, Texas and Keith Atkinson of Houston, Texas.
