Cynthia Kay Wells was born February 1, 1955 at Holbrook, Arizona to Jimmie Ted and Juanita Joyce (Baughn) Morris. She was raised and received her education in Kansas City, Missouri attending East High School. Cynthia also attended Tri-County Technological Center in Bartlesville where she received her Licensed Practical Nurse education. She worked in various nursing centers in Bartlesville, and Pawhuska, Oklahoma areas. Cynthia attended the Virginia Avenue Baptist Church in Bartlesville.
Survivors include her son; Marcus Wells of Pawhuska and her daughter; Lacy Ferguson and her husband John also of Pawhuska; four sisters Debra Gay "Debbie" Hulse of Independence, Missouri, Nona Rae Spealman of Bartlesville, Shirlyn Fay Morris of Independence, Missouri and Rebecca Dae Cowen of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and her life partner Jerry Griggs of Nowata. Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, one son Christopher Smith; one daughter LaDawn Smith and her step father Harry VanNoy.
