Deborah Jean "Debbie" Connelly, 58, of Bartlesville, died at 4:52 P.M. on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Monday, December 3, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church with Dr. Kevin Tully officiating. Interment will be in the Dewey Cemetery directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Casket escorts will include Richard Connelly, Jody Anderson, Cole Stevens and Kurt Connelly. Honorary casket escort will be Chance Stevens.
Friends who wish may call for visitation at the Stumpff Funeral Home until 9 P.M. Sunday as the casket will remain closed at the services.
Debbie was born at Davenport, Iowa on March 7, 1954 the daughter of Wayne William Stevens and Margaret Evelyn "Peggy" (Williams) Stevens. She lived in Iowa until the family moved to Memphis, Tennessee when she was six years old and she grew up and received her education there. The family moved to Bartlesville while she was in high school and she graduated from College High School in 1972 and then attended Memphis State. She was married to Richard Marion Connelly in Bartlesville on November 11, 1977. They made their home in Bartlesville for several years and later lived in various locations in several states. She returned to Bartlesville to make her home in 1997 and has been employed with the 66 Federal Credit Union since that time. She loved to travel and her Gold Club membership with the credit union afforded her the opportunity to take a number of overseas trips. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her son, Kurt Donald Connelly and his wife Elisa of Broken Arrow, her mother, Peggy Stevens of Bartlesville, one sister, Diane Christine Niesen and her husband Carl of Nesbit, Mississippi, one brother, Jim Stevens and his wife Sheree of Bartlesville, two grandchildren, Emma Connelly and Ian Connelly and nephews, Cole Stevens of Bartlesville and Chance Stevens of San Antonio, Texas and a nieces, Lindsey Swain and husband Nathan and their daughter, Claire Swaine of Alexander, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne William Stevens in 2009 and her daughter, Kelly Marie Connelly in 1984.
