Mr. Douglas Michael "Doug" Lahey, 45, of Bartlesville, died early Friday, January 25, 2013 at his home.
Funeral services for Mr. Lahey will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Joe Dan Fowler officiating. Funeral services and cremation will be directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
The Lahey family will receive guests for visitation at the Stumpff Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M.
The family suggests memorial donations to the Motorcycle Christmas Toy Run, c/o the Salvation Army, 101 N. Bucy, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74003.
Mr. Lahey was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on May 29, 1967 the son of Lorn R. Lahey Jr. and Kathleen M. (Monte) Lahey. He grew up and received his education in Bartlesville graduating from Bartlesville High School in 1985 and then attended Pittsburg State University at Pittsburg, Kansas for one year. He returned to Bartlesville where he has been active as an auto mechanic. He was married to Kelli Sue Cowen in Bartlesville in 1990 and they have made their home here since that time. He loved motorcycles and cars, liked to fish and shoot guns and spending time with his grandkids.
Mr. Lahey is survived by his wife, Kelli Sue Lahey of the home in Bartlesville, two daughters, Samantha Lahey and Amber Cowen both of Bartlesville, his parents, Lorn R. Lahey Jr. and Kathleen Lahey of Bonner Springs, Kansas, one sister, Teresa Murphy of Shawnee, Kansas, two grandchildren, Jayden Pierce and Alyvia Gage and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
