Evelyn Jean (Heasty) Diller was born September 18, 1931, in Wellington, KS to Ralph and Glennah Heasty. She graduated from Wellington High School with the class of 1949. After graduation, she was employed approximately four years at the Security State Bank in Wellington. On October 4, 1953, she married Ray C. Diller, in Wellington and they moved to San Diego, CA, where Ray was serving with the U. S. Marine Corps. After Mr. Diller was discharged, in May of 1954, they moved to Bartlesville where Mr. Diller attended Central Christian College and she was employed with the First National Bank in Bartlesville. She was employed with the bank, which is now Arvest Bank, for 20 years.

She was a faithful member of the Adams Blvd. Church of Christ. In her younger years, she was a Sunday School teacher. She served as Treasurer of the Bartlesville JayceeEttes, served as Secretary in the League of Women Voters, served as Secretary in the ABWA organization, served as Secretary/Treasurer in her Listen 'N Learn Extension Homemakers Group, and served as Secretary/Treasurer for the Club for the Physically Handicapped.
She was a homemaker for many years before returning to her banking career. She took an active role in her children's school activities, which she always enjoyed.
She also enjoyed being with her grandchildren at every opportunity. She tried to take part in activities in which they were involved.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray two and half months before her own death. They celebrated 60 years of wedded bliss last October. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
She is survived by two daughters, Michelle (John) Tooke of Conway, AR, Lori (Terry) Barrows of Bartlesville and two sons, Mike (Teresa) Diller of Bartlesville, and Steve (Gina) Diller also of Bartlesville. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by a brother, Glenn Heasty and his wife, Shirley, of Houston, TX, and a sister-in-law JoAnn Heasty of Wellington, KS.
There will be a memorial service to celebrate her life on July 11 at 2:00 pm at Adams Blvd. Church of Christ.
