Evelyn Mae Trumbly, 71, resident of Pawhuska, died Saturday, December 7, 2013.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 in the Friends Church in Hominy, Oklahoma. Interment will be in the A.J. Powell Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Evelyn Mae (Evie) Trumbly was born December 27, 1941 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Patrick Monroe and Cora Mae (Penn) Trumbly. She was raised and educated in Hominy, Oklahoma graduating high school there in 1958. Ms. Trumbly attended the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was employed at the Osage Tribal Housing Authority, she volunteered as an EMT with the Hominy Ambulance before working with Elder Care as a receptionist in Bartlesville. She was employed with Elder Care for thirteen years before retiring in 2011. Ms. Trumbly was a member of the Friends Church in Hominy, a neighborhood chairman for the Girl Scouts, served as coach for the softball team in Hominy, and a Den Mother with the Cub Scouts.
Survivors include her daughter Justine Hudson of Pawhuska, one son Tony Bone of Clarksville, Tennessee; four grandchildren Brandon, Nicki, John and Jared; three great-grandchildren Cetieva, Patience and Billy. Ms. Trumbly was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Andrea Bone; three-brothers George Otis Trumbly, Bob Leon Trumbly and Jr. Pat Trumbly and one sister Mary Pat Trumbly.
