Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tom Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Oglesby Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Floyd was born December 20, 1946 in Lenapah, Oklahoma. He was a hard working craftsman and had been self-employed for over 27 years. He owned and operated Lindersmith Well Service in Nowata and later operated F&L Carpentry. Floyd was a perfectionist and cared deeply about the work he performed for his clients. On September 3, 1983, He and Elaine Inman were united in marriage in Delaware, Oklahoma. He collected classic cars, enjoyed hunting and fishing and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Floyd was a family man and adored the memories shared with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Audie (Stubblefield) Lindersmith; one brother, Jack; three sisters, Dorothy Hundley, Pat Brotherton and Doris Jones.
Floyd is survived by his beloved wife, Elaine, of the home; one daughter, Stacey Lea Dobson and her husband, Richard, of Nowata, Oklahoma; two sons, Brian Inman and his wife, Christy, of Bartlesville, Stacy Inman and his fiancé, April, of Afton, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Chase Inman, Chelsi Inman, Trenton Glasscock, Seth Glasscock, Mariah Dobson, Kelsey Dobson; two brothers, Bill and his wife, Sue, of Nowata, Ralph and his wife, Ann, of Okeechobee, Florida; two sisters, Sunny Holland of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Jean Seely of Jay, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
