Francis Gruenewald Obituary
A Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 19th at the Walker-Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2017 at St. John Before the Latin Gate Catholic Church with Father Timothy Davison officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
Francis "Frank" Paul Gruenewald was born December 20, 1933 in Chicago, IL to Frank and Gizella (Gulrich) Gruenewald. Frank married Dolores C. Vogt on October 17, 1959 in Chicago, IL. He spent his career working as a self employed tool & die maker.
Frank is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dolores and six sons; Wayne, Paul, Bruce, Jon, Mark and George. He was blessed with 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and brother, George. Online condolences for the family can be made at www.walkerbrownfuneralhome.com.
