Mrs. Geneva Streeter, 75, of Bartlesville, former Coffeyville Kansas and Chicago, Illinois resident, died at 5:39 A.M. on Saturday in Bartlesville.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00A.M. on Saturday December 22, 2012 at the Miracle Temple Church of God In Christ in Bartlesville with her nephew Rev. Alonzo Moore officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery at Coffeyville, Kansas, under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
The Family will receive friends on Friday December 21st from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M at the Stumpff Funeral Home.
Mrs. Streeter was born on October 6, 1937 at Coffeyville, Kansas to Thomas and Ethel Corrine (Lynch) Scott Sr. She grew up and received her education at Coffeyville, graduating with the Field Kinley High School at Coffeyville in 1956. Shortly after graduation she moved to Chicago, Illinois where she later met and married to L. W. Streeter in 1960. They made their home in Chicago for over 52 years, where she was employed first in a plant that made the "Tootsie Rolls", and later as an assembly line worker for Ford Motor Company where she worked until the late 1960's. She continued to make her home there after Mr. Streeter died in 1973, until moving to Oklahoma City in 2007, until coming to Bartlesville this past summer. She was a member of the Oakdale Covenant Church in Chicago for a number of years, where she was active as a missionary and choir member in her church. She was devoted to her family and grandchildren, and loved to travel and cook.
Mrs. Streeter is survived by her three daughters, Mrs. Sigrid Burson and her husband David, of Springfield, Missouri, Nicole Streeter, of Bartlesville, and Kimberly Streeter, of Oklahoma City, Ok. by two sons, Larry Streeter and wife Charlotte of Chicago, and Anthony Streeter, of Independence, Missouri, and by one sister Mrs. Shirley Martinsez of Bartlesville, and by seventeen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas & Ethel Corrine Scott Sr. by her husband L.W. Streeter, in 1973, and by two daughters Darlene Streeeter and, Shirley Ann Streeter in 2006, and by a son Vernon Streeter and as a infant and Juanita and Garon Streeter as young children. Also she was preceded by her brothers Thomas, Lonnie "Zeno", Cornell, William, and Melvin Scott, and by a sister Edna Mae Scott.
