Mrs. Helen Marie Muninger, 79, of Bartlesville, died at 10:25 P.M. Saturday, October 20, 2012.

Funeral services for Mrs. Muninger will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the Oak Park United Methodist Church with Rev. Linda Lusnia officiating. Interment will be in the Dewey Cemetery directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

Mrs. Muninger was born at Chanute, Kansas on December 23, 1932 to Carl and Cleora (Blackburn) Grady. She grew up in the Chanute, Kansas area and graduated from high school there. She was married to Richard Eugene Muninger on May 21, 1955 at Lexington, Missouri. They made their home briefly in Missouri and then Rapid City, South Dakota where she worked for Bell Telephone Co. They came to Bartlesville in the 1950's and she was again employed at Bell Telephone Company and attended Bartlesville Business College. She was later employed with Bartlesville Stationary Company for over 20 years until her retirement. She was then employed with WalMart for 10 years as a Customer Service Manager until her retirement in 2002. Mr. Muninger preceded her in death on April 9, 1992 and she continued her home in Bartlesville. She has been a member of the Oak Park United Methodist Church for over 50 years and was a member of the Red Hat Club and has served on the board of the SPCA.
Mrs. Muninger is survived by one son, Randall Scott Muninger and his wife, Janet of Dewey, one daughter, Terri Hurst of Delaware, Okla., two brothers, John Grady and Jim Grady both of Chanute, Kansas, one sister, Mary King of Chanute, Kansas, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Junior Grady, one sister, Doris Strickland and one son, Joseph Mitchell Muninger on September 25, 1997.
