Hilda Louise Dabbs, 85, of Copan, died Sunday evening in Bartlesville.

Mrs. Dabbs was born August 2, 1928, in Lefor, North Dakota, the daughter of Joseph and Helen Mayer. She was raised in North Dakota and the family moved to California when she was eight. In 1972, she moved to the Bartlesville area and made her home here.
Mrs. Dabbs was kindhearted and loved spending time with her friends. She was very active, singing in the church choir and enjoyed playing Pinochle once or twice a week with church friends. She was known for her artistic ability in painting, sewing and crochet work. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.
Mrs. Dabbs is survived by her daughter Yvonne Burger of Copan; three grandchildren, Lisa O'Rourke and her husband John of Bartlesville, Zeke Burger and his wife Stacie of Collinsville, and Arica Riley and her husband Tom of Bartlesville; seven great grandchildren, Steven Burger, Zerrik Burger, Brandon O'Rourke, Connor O'Rourke, Austin Riley, Ali Riley and Tyler Riley; one brother Don Mayer and his wife Joyce of CA; one sister Darlene Miles of Sacramento, CA; and a host of other family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son David Dabbs, one daughter Dona Marie Apgar, one brother Ed Mayer, one sister Irene Schroder and one son-in-law Steve Burger.
The funeral mass for Mrs. Dabbs, will be Thursday, 2 p.m. August 8, 2013, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with Rev. Jose Thottathil officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Rosary for Mrs. Dabbs will be said at 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2013 in the Chapel of the Davis Family Funeral Home (918-534-3030), 113 S.
