It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Julie Anne Perry on December 11, 2012.
The Guest Book is expired.
Ms. Perry was born July 3, 1952 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from Bartlesville College High School in Bartlesville, Oklahoma in 1970. From there, she continued her education at the University of Kansas, serving as the president of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority and graduating with a Bachelors in Secondary Education in 1974. As academically driven as she was creative, she went on to earn an MBA in Finance from Western Illinois University in 1982.
Ms. Perry will be remembered as a passionate and caring mother by her two sons, Montgomery Perry Smith and Nathan Craig Smith, as well as Montgomerys husband Lucas. She is also survived by her sister Mary Cass Rinehart, a niece Kate Ellington and a nephew Greg Rinehart.
Ms. Perry had a love for animals, sympathy for the troubled and a deeply rooted desire to question the conventional. Though she passed before her time, she left an impression on everyone she met. Those who loved her will take comfort in reflecting upon their joyful memories of her.
In lieu of flowers, Ms. Perrys family is asking that donations be made to The Family Place at Box 7999, Dallas, TX, 75209 or the local ASPCA. Ms. Perrys family and friends will honor her life at a private ceremony.
