June Lavonne (De Ford) Riley, 81, of Bartlesville, died on Jan. 3, 2013, in Dewey.
Born in Dodge City, Kan., on June 17, 1931, to William and Violet (Sorem) De Ford, June moved with her family to Phoenix, Ariz., in August 1942. The family made the trip in a Model A Ford, without air conditioning, and it was around 110 degrees when the family reached Phoenix.
June graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1949 and moved to Los Angeles, Calif., when she was hired by the FBI - a job she took great pride in having had throughout her life. She transferred with the FBI back to Phoenix in 1950 and left the FBI in July 1953 to marry.
She married Warren Arthur "Rex" Riley in Venice, Italy, on Aug. 7, 1953. The couple welcomed a daughter in 1955 and twin sons in 1957.
They lived in various locations, due to Rex's job, before retiring to Prescott Valley, Ariz., in 1987. After her husband's death in 2003, June moved to Pensacola, Fla. She moved to Bartlesville in 2008.
June is survived by sons, Garry and wife, Lisa, of Bartlesville, and Larry, and wife, Rene', of Cantonment, Fla.; grandchildren Jessica and Chris Miller, of Bartlesville, Jayme and Dave Boehm, of St. Louis, Mo., Jordan and Jayme Riley, of Bartlesville, Christopher and Rachel Riley, of Cantonment, Fla., and Sean Riley and fiancée, Sonya Burr, of Cantonment, Fla.; seven great grandchildren; and nephew Lee De Ford and wife, Dawn, of Phoenix, Ariz.
June was preceded in death by her husband; 11-year-old daughter Carol Leslie Riley; parents; three brothers, Dale, Les and Jerry De Ford; and beloved sister-in-law, Hazel De Ford.

Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
