Kendall Hall Garrett, 64, died suddenly on Friday, April 12, 2013 at his home in Del City, Oklahoma.

Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the Memorial Park Cemetery directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Mr. Garrett was born on October 31, 1948 at Springdale, Arkansas to B.K. and Edna Lorene (Watson) Garrett. Kendall married the love of his life June 24, 1968. They started their life together in Bartlesville raising 2 children together. Kendall worked construction all his life, he worked on every road coming in or going out of town. Kendall lived life as if every day was his last, he fished and hunted until his first grandchild was born then she said no more shooting Bambi. Kendall never met a stranger he never met anyone he didn't like. He had great stories to tell and always did but his better part of life was spent with his grandchildren, he was "Pappy" for the rest of his life. He was very proud of all his grandchildren, loved them deeply and taught them all how to drive and fish. He became "Pappy" to everyone he met. He was all about family and talked of the old days with his brothers and sisters and reflecting on those times often. One of his many accomplishments was that he completely proud of was working on Bob Stoop's ponds at his home in Norman. Kendall loved to mess around in his garden and he had a special friend who lived next door and met at the fence, Charlotte Auwen.
Kendall is survived by his wife, Debbie Garrett, 2 children, Kendallia (Kendy) Garrett of the home and Kendall Garrett Jr. and his wife Barbara of Slaughterville, his 12 grandchildren, Meranda, Merissa, Kevin (Doc), Thomas, Shane, Bubba (James), Brittany, Kari, Tyler, Jake, Dakota and Johnny. He had 9 great grandchildren and one on the way. Kendall adopted 2 children, Heidi and Skylar Barcus. Also survived by his step father, Dolin Smith, 5 brothers, Kaine, Roy (Clack), Danny, Brent and Jerry and 5 sisters, Joyce, Billie, Patsy, Brenda, and Linda and an abundance of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter Carrie Alaine Garrett, 2 brothers, Thomas and Zane and both parents, B.K. Garrett and Lorene Smith.
