Kenneth Freeman passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2013.
A graveside service will be held Monday, October 14, 2013 at 11:00am in Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Chad Perceful officiating. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #105 Honor Guard. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
Kenneth Franklin Freeman was born April 9, 1919 in Wetumka, OK to Jesse and Mossy (Winchester) Freeman. Kenneth proudly served his country during WWII in the US Marine Corp. He married Genevieve Morgan in 1943 at Pawnee, OK.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 70 years, Genevieve of the home. Four sons; Kenneth Freeman Jr. and wife Wanda of Ralston, WY, David Freeman and wife Shirley of Ochelata, Danny Freeman and wife Phyllis of Okesa and Donald Freeman of Bartlesville. Two daughters; Carol and husband Riley Croffut of Ramona and Connie and husband Kevin Witte of Ochelata. He was blessed with 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, two nieces, one nephew and many friends.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Bill and Silva Freeman, one sister, Mae Fluty and grandson, Samuel Freeman.
