Leona Mae (Butcher) Snow Rieger, 84, died on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at her home in Bartlesville.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the First Christian Church in Dewey with Pastor Casey Parham officiating. Interment will be in the Dewey Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

Leona was born April 15, 1929 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma to Elmer and Ada Belle (Barham) Butcher. She was raised in the Barnsdall/Wynona area and graduated from Mound Valley School. She married Calvin Snow on December 4, 1948, to whom she was married until his death in 1994. In January, 1997 she married Eldon Rieger who passed away in 2005. She had worked at Phillips Petroleum Company for 42 years and retired in 1985. She was a member of the Jane Phillips Sorority, Swinging Squares (square dance), Red Hat Society and the First Christian Church in Dewey.
Leona is survived by two sons and one daughter, Calvin Lee Snow, wife Pamela, Michael Dee Snow, wife Margaret, Sheryl Ann (Snow) Baughman, husband Rod. Seven grandchildren: Kimberly (Snow) Hammon, Brandy Baughman, Brook Baughman, Dana (Baughman) Lee, Jared Snow, Damon Snow and Christopher Snow and sixteen great grandchildren.
She is also survived by nine brothers and six sisters; Albert Butcher, Leon Butcher, Raymond Butcher, William Butcher, Bliss Goad, Charles Butcher, Kathryn (Butcher) Troglin, Carolyn (Butcher) Estep, Marguerite (Butcher) Cole, Terry Butcher, Evelyn (Butcher) Klahr, Connie (Butcher) Tucker, Debbie (Butcher) Hadley, David Butcher and Richard Mullinix and life time friend Ivan G. Stark, plus numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Snow, her second husband Eldon Rieger, her parents Elmer Butcher and Ada Belle (Barham) Butcher, three sisters, Naomi Swan, Norma Lee Tinsley, Lillian Butcher and one brother Delbert Butcher.
