Louis M. Dyer, Jr., 69, resident of Bartlesville, died Wednesday March 13, 2013 in Tulsa.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday March 18, 2013, in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Dewey Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

Louis Mathew Dyer, Jr., was born November 1, 1943 at Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Louis Mathew and Lenora Josephine (Boling) Dyer. He was raised and received his education in Bartlesville living here until 1986. Louie was employed with Premium Beers for over 20 years retiring in 1993. He worked with them in Bartlesville and Vinita. Louie lived in Bartlesville until 1986 when they moved to Vinita living there until 2009. Louis was married to Gloria Wright on July 2, 1986 at Bartlesville. Louis was involved as a small business owner, owning Louie's Detail Shop and Louie's Auto Body Shop both in Bartlesville.
Survivors include; Gloria Dyer of the home; sons Tim Dyer and his wife Sheryl of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Curt Dyer and his wife Trisa of Pottsboro, Texas and Robert Goff of West Palm Beach, Florida and his fiancée Ivy Greathouse of Tulsa; daughter Sherre Nair of Vinita, Oklahoma and her fiancée Gary Johnson of Oswego, Kansas; brother Arlon Currin and his wife Kay of Claremore, Oklahoma; sisters Marilyn King and her husband Burt of Raleigh- Durham N. Carolina, Louise Hilligoss of Bartlesville and Marie Widener and husband Austin of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Louis was preceded in death by his father Louis Mathew Dyer Sr., his mother Lenora Josephine Currin and his step-father Glen Currin; two grandchildren Chasidi Dyer and Montana Dyer; two brothers Garrett Simmons and Meredith Simmons and two sisters Alta M.
