Marilyn Isabel Goodwin, 89, died at 6:30 A.M., on Tuesday January 28, 2014, in the Heritage Villa Nursing Center, Bartlesville, OK.

Funeral services for Mrs. Goodwin will be held Friday, January 31, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Wesleyan Church, 1776 SE Silver Lake Rd., Bartlesville with the Rev. Jim Koons Sr. officiating. Private interment will be in the Dewey Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Marilyn Isabel (Ragan) Goodwin was born on February 10, 1924 in Cherryvale, KS. Her parents were Leo M. Ragan and Delma N. Ragan. She grew up in Cherryvale and graduated high school there in 1942. She married Billy R. Goodwin Sr. January 27, 1946. She and Mr. Goodwin moved to Bartlesville in 1953 where they owned and operated Service Welding Co. Marilyn was a charter member of the Bartlesville Symphony Orchestra where she played in the violin section. She was a member of the First Wesleyan Church, Understanding Friends and a volunteer with the Bartlesville Community Center.
Surviving family include two sons, Bill R. Goodwin Jr. and his wife Linda of Bartlesville and Phillip R. Goodwin and his wife Kay of Claremore, Five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents Leo and Delma Ragan, her husband Bill R. Goodwin Sr., one daughter Gloria Goodwin, her twin sister Carilyn Clark and her step-mother Edna Ragan.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the American Parkinson's Disease Association, 1125 S. Trenton Ave., Tulsa, OK 74120.
