Marilyn Sue (McCutcheon) Frazier left this life for her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 10, 2013.
She was born to the late Edgar and Minnie McCutcheon, February 2, 1949 in Muskogee, OK. Marilyn attended schools in Muskogee then pursued a Psychology degree at the University of New Mexico, in Albuquerque, NM. While she lived in a number of locations due to her husband's profession, she always thought of Bartlesville, OK and Houston, TX as being her home.
Marilyn enjoyed being a mother and wife who always had a smile and looked for ways to give a helping hand to those in need. While in Bartlesville she was an active member of the Highland Park Baptist Church, a docent at Woolaroc Museum, a board member of American Red Cross, and a volunteer at the Concern Child Care and local nursing homes in Bartlesville. In Houston, she attended the Second Baptist Church. She loved to travel and play golf with her husband. But her real enjoyment was doting on her two grandchildren, Izzy and Max.
Marilyn is survived by her husband Larry Frazier, of Houston, TX; her daughter Lisa Frazier-Deller of Tulsa, OK; two grandchildren Isabelle Kathrine Deller and Colin Maxwell Deller; and two brothers Eddie McCutcheon, of Winnsboro, TX and Sammy, of Braggs, OK; two sisters Julia Garban of Dickerson, TX and Rose Marie McCutcheon of Braggs, OK and numerous friends and relatives.
In lieu of flowers, she has requested that donations be made to the scholarship fund of Oklahoma Baptist University, or to the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX.
A viewing will be held beginning Saturday, July 13 at Bradley Funeral Home, Muskogee. Services will be Monday July 15 at 11:00 AM at Bradley Funeral Home Belltower Chapel with Tom Holland of Bartlesville officiating. Burial will be at 1:00PM at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
The family has entrusted Bradley Family Funeral Service with the arrangements. Friends may send condolences to the family at
