Maud Delee (Lee) Larmore Tannehill was born September 2, 1920, west of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was the only daughter of Lytle Leta (Nelson) and Thomas James Larmore. She lived mostly in the Bartlesville area all of her life. Her first husband was Milton R. Vanatta, Jr. On February 16, 1946, she married E.G. (Tex) Tannehill and they were married 53 years until his death. Lee was the office manager for her husband's company, Tex Tannehill Concrete Contractor. She was a member of the Bartlesville Exchangette's for over 35 years, serving as president twice. Lee was also a member of the American Legion Aux, Eastern Stars 142, the Shrine aux. Lee was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed being a grandma, playing cards with family and friends, and playing at the casino, especially the slot machines (of which Lady Luck shined on her). She was renowned for her many varieties of extremely delicious Christmas candies that she shared with family and friends.

Her Son: Mickey Vanatta and his wife Pat of Owasso, Oklahoma
Four Grandchildren: Jim Farrell, Jennifer LeeAnna Cutter, Micah Vanatta, and Melissa Hamby
And many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Wilbur Larmore; and infant son, Cleo Vanatta.
Visitation was held at from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 17, 2012, at Mowery Funeral Service, Owasso, Oklahoma. Graveside services were at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, with Pastor Ben Killion officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Lee to Owasso Community Resources, 109 North Birch, Owasso, OK 74055.
