Rena M. King passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 19, 2013 in the Walker-Brown Chapel with Reverend Tom Cox officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home. Rena Mae King was born June 13, 1927 in Bartlesville to P.W. "Bill" and Ruby (Hawkins) Tate. Rena was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church for over 50 years.

She dedicated over 35 years of service working for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. Rena enjoyed traveling and being with family. Rena is survived by her three daughters; Connie Elflett of Dallas, TX, Sheila and husband Jim Mullings of Bixby, Robin and husband Vernon Smith of Biloxi, MS and one son, Thomas King and wife Jeanette of Gulf Breeze, FL. She was blessed with ten grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Rena is also survived by four brothers; Kenneth, Dale, Gary and Ronald Tate along with two sisters; Norma Robinson, Wilma Wells, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
