Mr. Ronnie Peters, 66, of Bartlesville, died at 9:36 A.M. on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center.

Public viewing for Mr. Peters will be held at the Stumpff Funeral Home from 9 AM to 9 P.M. Tuesday & Wednesday and the Peters family will receive guests at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. No formal services are planned.

Mr. Peters was born at Mulberry, Arkansas on June 1, 1947 the son of Cosma Lee and Geneva A. (Frazier) Peters. He moved with his family to Dewey as a child and during his youth was a longtime paperboy for the Examiner-Enterprise in the Dewey area. He attended Dewey Schools and graduated from Dewey High School in 1965. He then entered the U.S. Army and served in Viet Nam. Following his Honorable Discharge he returned to Dewey. He was employed as a machinist and for the last 12 years prior to his retirement was employed with D & L Machine Shop in Tulsa.
Mr. Peters is survived by on son, Jason Allan Pierce and his wife Cassondra of Tulsa, his mother, Geneva Peters of Bartlesville, one brother, Dannie Peters of Bartlesville, one sister, Linda Stumpff and husband Larry of Bartlesville, four grandchildren, Reiley O'Banion, Caleb Pierce, Ireland Pierce and Cathrine Pierce, a niece, Laci Felty and husband Chris of Owasso, a nephew, Levi Stumpff and wife Lynsey of Bartlesville, three great nieces and one great nephew. He was preceded in death by his father.
