Ruby McKissick Obituary
Ruby was born March 7, 1926 in Lodi, OK to Cornelius and Willie B. (Yandell) McCann. She married Vernon McKissick on March 14, 1978 in Dewey, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Vernon McKissick of Bartlesville; daughters, Catheryn Chandler of Lawton and Carolyn Howell of Frederick; sisters, Marilyn Mahan and husband, Warren of Chandler, AZ and Demerious Collins and husband, Charles of Mena, AR; grandchildren: Dawnielle Moore and husband, Mike of Moore, Jeremy Bevel of Moore, Jay Howell of Pineville, MO, Kyle Howell and wife, Rhonda of Bella Vista, AR and Jack Eugene Bates of Blackwell; Six Great Grandchildren; and, One Great-Great Grandchild.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius and Willie B. McCann; brother, J.C. McCann; sister, LaDean Mahan; son, Jack Bates and grandson, Billy Bates.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the Hardaway-McCann Cemetery, Red Oak, Oklahoma with Pastor Danny Workman officiating. Interment of the cremains will follow.
Arrangements entrusted to Jones Harkins Funeral Home, Wilburton, OK.
