Mrs. Stella Madeline (Geiger) Lomasney, 103, of Bartlesville, died at 4:23 A.M. on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Heritage Villa Nursing Center.

A Rosary for Mrs. Lomasney will be said at 7 P.M. on Monday in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel by Deacon Joe Richard. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10 A.M. Tuesday at the St. John Catholic Church with Father Festus Maliwa officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Casket escorts will include Bob Brown, Sal DeMarco and Bob Hoelker.
A memorial fund has been established to the St. John Catholic School, 121 West 8th Street, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74003.
Stella Madison (Geiger) Lomasney was born to John B. Geiger and Julia R. (Schott) Geiger on December 21, 1908 in Dallas, Texas. The family moved to Oklahoma City when she was a year and a half old. She grew up there and graduated from business college. Afterward she worked as a secretary until her marriage in 1936 to Bernard J. Lomasney. They made their home in Bartlesville. They were married 55 years until his death in 1991. She stayed in the family home until 2000 when she moved to Green Country Village. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church for 76 years.
Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, four brothers, and five sisters. Survivors are her daughter Paula Griffin and son-in-law James D. (Dan) Griffin and numerous nephews and nieces.
