Ms. Susanne Jane Sanders, 69, of Bartlesville died at 11:16 A.M. Saturday at the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa.

Private family services will be held at her home on Saturday September 15, at 2:00 P.M. Cremation arrangements were directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

Susanne was born on July 28, 1943 at Wichita, Kansas to Clinton Roy and Alta Bell (Moore) Pyle. She came to Bartlesville as a young girl where she grew up and received her early education in Bartlesville public schools. She began her working career as a nurse's aide at the former Washington County Memorial Hospital, and the later worked for a cleaning service for a number of years. She later began working at the Jane Phillips Medical Center as a sterile processing technician, having worked her way up to a supervisor position, working there for over 32 years, until her retirement on December 31, 2010. Susanne was a well rounded person enjoying a wide variety of music and other arts. She was a Rock N. Roller and enjoyed Sci-Fi books and movies, an avid quilter, loved reading, cooking and art. She also had large collections of Santa Claus, books and quilting. She was a very caring and loving person, always wanting to help her family and friends. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bartlesville.
Ms. Sanders is survived by her daughter; Mrs. Terry Ann Chambers and her husband Dale of Bartlesville, by a son David L. Sanders, of Bartlesville, and by a sister Sara Lee Shrum of Bartlesville, and two grandchildren Bryce Sealock and Shelby Sealock, both of Bartlesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clinton Roy (C.R.) Pyle in 1952, and Alta Bell Pyle in 1997 and by a sister Nancy Lu George in 2008.
