Vancine Margaret Redcorn passed away Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 in the St. John Continuous Care Center in Tulsa, Okla.

She was 62 years old.
Margaret was born Jan. 13, 1950 in Los Angeles, Cal., the daughter of William Arthur and Naomi (Wolfe) Myers.
On Sept. 19, 1969, she married Andrew "Buddy" RedCorn in Pawhuska, Okla. He preceded her in death May 14, 2009.
Margaret was a member of the Osage Nation and Cherokee Tribe. She had worked as a carpenter for the Indian Action Program and was also a Tribal Cook. She enjoyed beading and finger weaving in her spare time. Margaret was also known for her quick wit. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Klash-Kah-She Club.
Surviving are her daughters Tonya RedCorn and Michelle RedCorn; her granddaughter Emma RedCorn; one brother, Bill Myers; two sisters, Leslie Myers and Cynthia Boone; as well as a host of other family and friends.
In addition to her husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her parents.
Margaret will lie in state at the Indian Camp Chapel, where Rosary will be recited Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, Oct. 25, 10 a.m., at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Father Chris Daigle will officiate. Interment will be in the Lookout Family Cemetery.
