How do you sum up the existence of a man with a larger than life personality? Walter Harrison Harlow lived a full and usually opinionated life; Dad loved his family and country and spent a great deal of time travelling throughout the United States constructing electrical substations. Everyone that encountered him knew he could be stubborn and loud while living the life he enjoyed. All that knew him loved him. Dad looked and sounded gruff and stern but Barbara, his companion of 15 years, would say that he was just a big ole teddy bear. Dad found a way to succeed in all situations, he even managed to avoid his biggest irritation if life, Obamacare. Rest in peace Dad and don't be too hard on the Angels. We love you and will miss you dearly!
Mr. Harlow is survived by his companion Barbara Leverich of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, by his two daughters Shady Jean Conklin and her husband Thomas of Corsicana, Texas, and by Teresa Leigh Cox and her husband Robert J. Scott of Morrison, Colorado, by two sisters Mrs. Elizabeth Farmer of Greer, South Carolina, and Mrs. Sheri Martin of Skiatook, Oklahoma and by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack H. and Juanita I. Harlow.
