Lela Marlene McGee passed away Friday, January 31, 2014. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Life Church of Bartlesville with Reverend Ben Killion officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.

Lela was born August 18, 1943 in Nowata, OK to Bonnie and Theta (Snyder) Parrish. Lela was a strong and caring woman who deeply cherished her family and loved the Lord. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed collecting antiques, dolls and sports memorabilia. She dedicated 31 years of service to Phillips/ConocoPhillips Co. in security.
Lela is survived by one daughter, Marla McPhail and Tony Kountoupis of Bartlesville. Two sons, Kenneth McGee and wife Pam of Pawhuska, Wade McGee and wife Debbie of Coeur d'Alene, ID. She was blessed with nine grandchildren, Paige and husband Aaron, Blake, Shawnee, Tucker, Jerry, McKenzie, Madison, Kenny, Parker and one great grandson, Lane. One brother, Don Parrish of Nowata, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings.
