Cynthia Ann Brainard Williams, 59, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Friday, May 2 at 8:15 p.m. after a short, nasty fight with cancer. She was born Sept. 19, 1955, to Earnest and Agnes Brainard, in Junction City, KS.
Left behind to carry on her memory are Cindy's husband of 41 years Paul Williams; her three children and their spouses, son Joshua and Jessica Williams, son Dr. Jeremiah and Heather Williams, and Steven and daughter JanDell Rowe; eight grandchildren, Caleb, Lauren, Linsey, Megan, Alex, Katie, Abbie and Evelyn with whom she created a lot of "memories" with over the past years, and a host of family and friends.
To her two brothers Jackie Theye, and David and Retina Brainard: Cindy loved you both so very much. * To Joshua, Jeremiah (that was just for you) and JanDell: Words cannot express all of the pride, love, joy, delight, happiness, laughter, and "wonderful memories" your mother had and felt for you. You are her gems. * To David: Cindy and I are so proud of you and the man you have become. Cindy loved all the time she spent with you and your family. * To Cindy's nieces and nephews (Kevin and Ginger Kearney & Casey; Kent Ropp; Shaun, Steven, Kevin and Aleah Brainard; and Aleah and Jason Theye): She loved and prayed for each of you often. * To Kevin and Ginger: Thanks for the "memories, exotic meals, stories, laughter and fun," and Port, Cindy and I have shared with you. * To sister and brother-in-law Jerry and Joyce Ropp: Cindy cherished your love, your giving spirits and friendship over the years more than you will ever know.
