Pauline Roberta Shrum, 95, of Bartlesville, died at 10:34 A.M. on Thursday, August 21, 2014.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 in the Dewey Cemetery at Dewey, Oklahoma under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Pauline Roberta Shrum was born April 11, 1919 at Dewey, Oklahoma to John Dillard and Arwilda (Proffett) Youngblood. She was raised and received her education in Dewey graduating high school there. Mrs. Shrum was employed as a Certified Nurse Assistant receiving her education in nursing homes in Bartlesville. She was employed with Heritage House Nursing Home and Medicalodge of Dewey. Mrs. Shrum retired in 1983 from the Medicalodge. She has lived in the Dewey area all her life and enjoyed caring for people and her family.
Survivors include her two sons; Delbert Shrum and David Shrum of Bartlesville; five daughters Linda Fay Haner of Colcord, Oklahoma, Phyllis Davis, Carolyn Pace, Judith Shrum and Darla Woods all of Bartlesville; one sister Doris White of Bartlesville; twenty grandchildren; forty-one great-grandchildren; twenty-three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Shrum was preceded in death by her parents, two grandchildren Marla West and Glen David Haner; two great-grandchildren Kyler West and Robert Jones; one brother Ellis Jackson and one sister Velma Bullock.
