Henry Lee Young, 84, entered into Heaven, Saturday evening in the Heritage Villa Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday in the Oglesby Assembly of God Church with Pastor Randy Keller and Pastor Paul Stetz officiating. Interment will be in the Oglesby Cemetery with full military honors accorded by the American Legion Post # 334. Funeral services and interment will be directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
A memorial has been established with the Oglesby Assembly of God Church, 401471 W. 2700 Road, Ramona, Oklahoma 74061 for those who wish to donate in his memory.
Henry Lee Young was born on February 4, 1926 at Oglesby the son of Minerd William and Mary Irene (Eastman) Young. He was raised in Washington County. He served in the US Navy during WWII. He married Doris Pierce on February 8, 1947 at Bartlesville. He had worked as a carpenter for the National Zinc Smelter retiring in 1988. He was a member of the Oglesby Assembly of God Church where he had taught Sunday School for over 50 years.
Henry is survived by his wife Doris of the home, two sons, Stephen Henry Young of Oglesby and Peter James Young of Bartlesville, three daughters, Glenda Lea Stevens and Vickie Lynn Sigler both of Bartlesville, and Doris Marlene Rogers of Broken Arrow, two brothers, Mitchell Young of Midwest City and Leroy Young of Ochelata, four sisters, Doris Gardner of Ochelata, Loretta Hoey of Bates City, Missouri, Mileta Virden of Ochelata and Helen Buttman of Michigan, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Ralph (Tubby) Young, Junior Young and Forrest Young and two grandsons, John Lee Thomas and Cody Blake Young.
