William "Bill" Boatright passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012 in Cherryvale, KS.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2012 in the Walker-Brown Chapel with Dr. John Snook officiating. Interment will be in the White Rose Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post #105 Honor Guard. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.
William Keith Boatright was born July 11, 1934 in Southwest City, MO to Frank and Grace Boatright. Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Army receiving his honorable discharge in 1958. He attended Barber School shortly after his military service and operated 14th Street Barber Shop for over 25 years, retiring in the fall of 2004.
Bill is survived by one daughter, Brenda and husband John Snook of Ft. Worth, TX, and two step-sons, Randy Postrach and wife Darlynn of Dewey and Richard Postrach and wife Mitzi of Bartlesville. Grandchildren, Lauren Snook of Tyler, TX, "John-John" Snook of Ft. Worth, TX, Molly Snook of Dallas, TX, Amber and Brad Gastel of Dewey, Joey and Sondra Rogers of Dewey, Racheal and Hank Finn of Dickinson, TX, Marty and Celina Agnew of Hollywood, CA, and Mandy and Preston Robertson of Bartlesville, numerous nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Boatright, parents, Frank and Grace Boatright, one brother, Kenneth Boatright, one sister, Pauline Hiser and one great grandchild, Lathe Gastel.
Bill will be remembered as a kind and gentle man, who brought a smile to everyone's face.
