Laura L. (Miller) Vaughan passed away Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 in the Pawhuska Nursing Home. She was 90 years old.

Laura was born Jan. 23, 1923 in Hominy, Okla., the daughter of Charley Frank and Rosa May (Shook) Miller. On May 22, 1945, she married Henry C. Vaughan in Sedan, Kan. He preceded her in death June 20, 1992.
A high school graduate, Laura worked in the garment factory as a seamstress. In her earlier years, she enjoyed going deer hunting in Colorado and fishing, as well as all other outdoor activities.
Surviving family include numerous nieces and nephews, and Laura's dear friend, Carolyn.
In addition to her husband, Laura was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Mary, Bea and Cena; brothers Jack, Everett, Duke and Bill Miller; twin sisters, Lela and Letha; four sisters-in-law, and two brothers-in-law.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, Feb. 12, 11 a.m., in the Pawhuska City Cemetery. Pastor Kathy Morris officiated. Interment followed.
