Daniel R. Rigsby, age 20 and resident of Bartlesville, passed away at his home on Sunday, April 14, 2013.
Daniel Ron Rigsby was born on January 13, 1993 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He was the son of Annette V. (Ball) Rigsby and Steve K. Rigsby.
Daniel lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma for a short time before returning to Bartlesville where he has been a resident for the past 17 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Daniel attended Bellringer and Hoover schools, but for most of Daniel's time in Bartlesville, he was home schooled from 4th to 9th grade. Starting in 9th grade, Daniel attended Bartlesville Mid-High School and then on to Bartlesville High School. He would have graduated with the Bartlesville Sr. Class of 2013. Daniel enjoyed attending school where he had many friends. He also enjoyed All Star Therapy horseback riding, and he loved OU and OSU football. He was a member of the Special Olympics where he participated in motor chair and fine motor skill events. He always enjoyed camping, swimming, fishing and generally being out-of-doors. Daniel was a joy to his family and was a very happy person.

Daniel was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; uncle, Ron Rigsby; and aunt, Evelyn Baston.
He is survived by his mother, Annette Rigsby; his father, Steve Rigsby; uncles, Tim Rigsby, Stan Rigsby and Gene Ball and his wife, Cynthia Lanners; aunts, Claudette Walters and her husband, John, Paulette Brown and her husband, John, Louise Lynch and her husband, John, Kathie Whyte and her husband, Bob, and Margie Green and her husband, Larry; and many cousins.
Visitation for Daniel will be held on Friday, from 6-8 PM with family present in the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home, 710 S. Dewey Ave., Bartlesville.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 PM in the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service in Memorial Park Cemetery.
