Barbara Jean Ruble, 87, resident of Copan, died Sunday, September 1, 2013, in Dewey, Oklahoma.

Barbara Jean Ruble was born October 22, 1925 at Clifty, Arkansas to Emmett Homer and Ethel Mae (Foster) Watson. She was raised and received her education in Barnsdall, Oklahoma graduating high school there in 1943. Mrs. Ruble was married to Clyde M. Ruble on November 10, 1945 at Wichita, Kansas. They made their home in the Copan area. Mrs. Ruble was employed with Jane Phillips Medical Center for thirty-five years working in the Accounting Department.
Survivors include; two daughters LaRue Taggart and her husband Bill and Beverly Stotts and her husband Gary of Copan, Oklahoma; three sons Emmett Ruble and his wife Debbie and Rodney Ruble and his wife Janice of Dewey, Oklahoma and Kenneth Ruble and his wife Pam address unknown and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ruble was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clyde M. Ruble on November 27, 2009 and four brothers and three sisters.
