Carol Ann Conde, 64 resident of Blue Springs, Missouri died Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Blue Springs.
Carol was born on October 21, 1948, in Hannibal, Missouri, to William C. Thomas and Elizabeth J. (Hirner) Franklin.
Carol was an avid quilter and loved needlework and painting. She was a member of the American Quilter's Society and a local quilting club; the Q-Bee's. She enjoyed quilting outings and attending events with her friends and fellow members. Carol's outgoing personality, positive spirit and creativity will always be remembered and greatly missed.
She is survived by husband Grover Conde; father William Thomas; mother Elizabeth Franklin, her three daughters Laura Weekley, Tracy Calhoun, Elaine Loyd; son James Bartling; two sons-in-law Billy Calhoun and Derek Loyd; four grandchildren Kelsi and Alec Calhoun, Dylan and Caden Loyd; brothers; Chris, Patrick and Donnie Thomas and sisters; Jessica Bevenour, Pam Weisenborn, Jennifer Thomas, Theresa Thomas and Tina McClelland. Carol is preceded in death by her brother David Thomas.
