Pamela Kay "Pam" Anderberg Obituary

Pamela Kay "Pam" Anderberg, 53, of Columbia, Mo., was called home by her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 6, 2018, at her home at Woodhaven.

A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., at St. Mark's Catholic Church 3736 S. Lee's Summit Road, Independence, MO 64055.

Pam was born on April 27, 1965, in Sedalia, Mo., to Ande and Linda (Dalton) Anderberg. She fell in love with the staff and residence at Woodhaven and called Columbia home. She competed in the Special Olympics, enjoyed riding horses, bowling, attending Camp Wonderland, and singing karaoke – especially Journey! Most of all, she loved being with her family and friends. Pam had a zest for life; she never met a stranger. Once you shook hands with Pam, you became friends. She was a joy to many and the light that she brought into this world will be deeply missed.

Her survivors include her parents, Ande and Linda Anderberg of Independence, Mo.; brother, Keith Anderberg and sister, Joan Anderberg of North Kansas City, Mo.; her nephews, Peter and Noah Anderberg; and her beloved dog, Abbe.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Russell and Violet Anderberg; maternal grandparents, Earl and Louise Dalton; uncles, Russ Anderberg and Mike Dalton; and aunt, Nancy Murray.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Woodhaven. No flowers please.
