William F. Fleming Obituary
William F. Fleming, 70, of Linneus, Mo., passed away Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at St. Mary' Medical Center, Blue Springs, Mo.

William was born October 1, 1943, in Cleveland. William lived at Drumm Farm in Independence, Mo., from the age of 13. He was a 1965 graduate of CMSU in Warrensburg, Mo. William taught at Wentworth Military Academy from 1966-1968, Platte City High School in Platte City, Mo., in 1969 and taught at Oak Grove High School in Oak Grove, Mo., in 1970. He worked at Drumm Farm in 1971 and Farm Bureau Insurance in 1972. William started working the Independence Post Office in 1973, retiring after 30 years of service. He was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Independence. William was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Diley; and brother, Herb Fleming.

William is survived his wife, Susan Fleming of the home; daughter, Fonda Fleming of Independence, Mo.; sons, Phillip Fleming and wife, Maria, of Lee's Summit, Mo., Ferren Fleming of Independence, Mo., and Frank Fleming and wife, Traci, of Warrensburg, Mo.; grandsons, Alex Fleming and Ethan Fleming of Lee's Summit, Mo., and Dimetri Fleming of Warrensburg, Mo.; stepdaughter, Amanda Hidy, stepson son-in-law, Frick Hidy, step grandson, Cole Hidy, and step granddaughter, Carolina, all of Wheeling, Mo.; and mother-in-law, Frieda Snedeger of Odessa, Mo.
