Rita Pilcher Obituary
A memorial visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 17, at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052; private inurnment at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
Rita was born Jan. 12, 1925, to Delbert and Leona (Stuart) Moss in Morriston, AR. She loved to sew and garden. She was a loving mother and grandmother to all.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Crossroads Hospice.
Rita was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth C. Pilcher, her parents and siblings Troy and Reatha Moss.
She is survived by daughters Sherry Walling, Lee's Summit, MO; Vicky Walsh, Independence, MO; Kathy Allen and husband Bert, Gurley, AL; sons Mike Pilcher, Independence, MO; Chuck Pilcher, Pattonsburg, MO; Dan Pilcher, Carson City, NV; grandchildren Justin Walling and wife Jourdan, Lee's Summit, MO; Christine Hammond and husband Jeremy; Mike Pilcher, Jr.; Amber Pilcher, all of Independence, MO; Chuck Pilcher, Jr, Odessa, MO; Jessica Michael and husband Robert, Blue Springs, MO; Amy Fuller and husband Josh, Gardenville, NV; Conner Allen and Olivia Allen, both of Gurley, AL.
