FAIRBORN Betty J. Heasley, age 80 of Fairborn, passed away Monday October 14, 2013 in the Hospice of Dayton. She was born June 3, 1933 in Titusville, PA, the daughter of the late Charles G. and Agnes M. (Corliss) Rosequist. Betty was a member of Mary, Help of Christians Parish and volunteered with the Red Cross at Wright-Patterson AFB Medical Center for over 20 years. She was a very devoted wife and mother who was loved by many. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles "Bud" and Daniel; and a sister, Irene. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, USAF CMSgt. (Ret.) Joseph E. Heasley; five children, Joseph E., Jr. (Cathy) of Denver, CO, Gregory G. (Teresa) of Huber Heights, Cynthia A. (David) Luczak of Pewaukee, WI, Stephen A. (Brenda) of Xenia, Mark J. (Melissa) of Huber Heights; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a sister, Sylvia (Rod) Herring of Centerville, PA; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday October 17, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. in the Mary, Help of Christians Church, 954 N. Maple Ave., Fairborn, Father Charles Lang Celebrant. The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until the time of Mass at the church. Interment will follow in the Byron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross. Arrangements in care of Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, Fairborn.
