Galliger, Patrick - Xenia  
XENIA — Patrick Galliger, 66, passed away Tuesday May 24, 2016 in Xenia, Ohio. Pat was born January 3, 1950 in Xenia, Ohio the son of the late Forest "Tug" and Mary Louise (Hamma) Galliger. Along with his parents Pat is preceded in death by his brothers: Tom, Joe, and Nick Galliger. Pat is survived by his wife Altha (Jordan) Galliger; daughter: Erica Brookhart (Craig); son: Chris Galliger; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and a brother: Jerry M. Galliger. Pat is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday June 1, 2016 at St. Paul Cemetery Yellow Springs, Ohio. Gifford, Ray - Xenia  
XENIA — Ray E. Gifford, 68 of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, May, 25 2016 at Hospice of Dayton after a short battle with cancer. Ray was born June 2, 1947 in Worthington, Ohio the son of the late John F. and Bessie Violet (Perry) Gifford. Along with his parents Ray is preceded in death by a son: Ray Allen Gifford; brother: John E. Gifford; sister: Janet S. Hartsock; mother-in-law: Rose Hill; father-in-law: William Hill and a brother-in-law: Charles Hill . Ray is survived by his wife: Frances Gifford; daughters: Wendy Gifford, Karen Coyle (Jason) and Alexa Raybuck (Darryl); sons: Brian Gifford (Tresa), Kevin Gifford and Lee Gwin; sister: Mary Dickerson; grandchildren: Jake, Jessica (Ryan), Amanda (Andrew), Jacob, Nicholas, Brooke, Kayla, Cierra, Heaven, Anjewel, Brian Jr., Greg and Noah. Ray was also survived by his great grandchildren: Ashlyn, Aubree, Aileea, Andrew, Aidenn, Arieana and a special sister-in-law: Lois Gwin. Ray enjoyed woodworking, working on cars, and gardening but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Tuesday May 31, 2016 at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit Street, Xenia. Goins, Bruce - Phoenix  
XENIA — Bruce Montgomery Goins, born April 16, 1952, transitioned to glory from home in Phoenix, AZ, May 13, 2016. Preceding him: his father, Pastor (master builder) Willmore D. Goins; siblings, William, Susan; wife, Lindell Clark Goins. He is survived by his mother, Lorene P. Stills Goins, Pastor Emeritus (Olive Chapel, Bartlett); sisters: Donna Ware, Faye (John) Files, Lorraine Jordan, Victoria (Robert) Newsom, Jane Goins; nephews and nieces: Efram, Farrakhan & Sivuca Ware, Uchenna Youngblood, John & Raymond Files, Lula, Richard, Megan, Alexis, Layla & Keith Jordon, Rhonda Colón, Michael & Michkilyan Goins, & their respective children; a multitude of other relatives. Bruce loved the Lord, his family, friends, country, animals - especially horses, and blue jays, reading, writing western stories, drawing, deep reflective thinking and fishing. He graduated Xenia High School, served in the Marines, and attended Central State University. Recently retired, he chose a lifetime of driving taxicabs and teaching new drivers, encouraging and inspiring many. Burial May 24, at 10:15 a.m. - National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona (Phoenix). The family thanks each one for your prayers, caring acts, and kind sentiments.
