Harold Trimble

FAIRBORN — Harold B. Trimble, age 79 of Fairborn, passed away Thursday March 20, 2014 in his residence after a one-year illness. He was born September 15, 1934 in Oil Springs, Kentucky, the son of the late Dorris and Maxie (Stapleton) Trimble. Mr. Trimble served his country in the U.S. Army and retired as an insurance and real estate agent. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Joe, and James Trimble; a sister, Ramona Irene Trimble; and two nephews, Mark and Gregory Trimble. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Billie (Sublett) Trimble; son, Jeffrey (Nina) Trimble; daughter, Ramona; brother, Keith (Billie) Trimble; four granddaughters, Nichole and Amanda Trimble, Hannah Gray, Cathy Mosley; grandson, Christopher Grant; seven great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 29, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Eric Meade and Pastor Jim Martin officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Inurnment with military honors will follow in the Byron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
